Frequently asked questions
Are you affiliated with or certified by any Manufacturer to repair their laser or RF machines?
No, manufacturers do not want independent companies to repair their equipment. Certification is exclusively granted to their own service centers. Despite this, we are capable of repairing all brands and offering fair pricing for our services. Our prices follow a set standard.
Note: Advanced Commercial Appliance Repair is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or officially connected to any laser manufacturers mentioned on our website. These trademarks are used solely for identification and reference purposes, and their presence does not imply any affiliation with the respective trademark holders.
Do you have the right to repair my device?
Yes, if you own the machine. However, if the device is rented or still under the manufacturer’s warranty, it is typically their responsibility to handle repairs. In such cases, it is advisable to contact them. It is similar to a new car—if it has a problem while under warranty, it’s best to take it to the dealership. Once the warranty expires, you are free to choose any repair service you prefer.
How do you obtain parts for repairs?
Since manufacturers restrict independent repairs, they do not provide parts directly to us. However, the components used in your machine, such as diodes, crystals, lenses, transformers, lamps, and cooling chambers, are not exclusively made by the device manufacturer. These essential parts for laser operation are available on the open market.
When is it preferable to work with the manufacturer for my device?
If you own the device, you can request quotes from both the manufacturer and Advanced Commercial Appliance Repair for service. You will notice a difference in offerings!
However, if your device is rented or still under the manufacturer's warranty, it's usually best to go through the manufacturer. Warranty-covered repairs typically come at no additional cost to you.
Why doesn't the manufacturer allow you to service my device on their behalf?
Manufacturers rely on after-sales services as a key source of revenue. This profitable activity is typically delegated to their dealer network, ensuring dealers have a steady revenue stream. Our business is affected by pricing structures established by manufacturers and their resale networks and we provide better pricing.
How long does it take to repair my medical laser machine?
We require 5 business days to assess the service needs. Once approved, it generally takes 10-20 business days to obtain the necessary parts and complete the repairs.
Will you come and fix my laser in our clinic?
No. Based on our policy, no part of the work is done at the clinics.
Do you provide any warranty on the labor part of the repair done on the machines?
Based on our policy, we do not provide any warranty on the labor part of the work that has been done. If you have any problem with that, please ask for service from another service provider. We reserve the right to provide warranty, if needed, to any client, and for any specific cases that we determine to be necessary.
Do you provide any refund if I am not happy with your service?
All of our services are sold "as is" with no warranty or guaranteed unless stated otherwise. Advanced Commercial Appliance Repair will not accept returns, exchange products or provide refunds under any conditions. If you do not agree, please contact another service provider.
Are you liable for any damages, loss, or skin burn after you repair a laser machine?
In no event, shall Advanced Commercial Appliance Repair be liable for any damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, harm to humans, arising out of the use or inability to use the machine by the client after we provide our service.
Do you calibrate the laser machines after each repair?
No, it is not always necessary to calibrate a laser machine after each repair or maintenance. Calibration of laser-producing components is typically required when certain critical components related to accuracy or performance, such as the laser output or alignment systems, are replaced or adjusted. However, for electronic repairs and routine maintenance that do not affect these aspects of the machine's function, recalibration may not be needed. Please be advised that Advanced Commercial Appliance Repair does not provide any laser light calibration at this point and instead, we electronically check the internal components of the machine to make sure that they work properly.
